pup hexayurt

I rebuilt the pup yurt, sealing the edges better with a better tape — and it has stood since April, through some pretty strong storms. I had it anchored against a wooden fence with a 2′x2′ piece of particle board through the summer, and the only other alteration I made was to apply a tarry waterproofing sealant to the roof.
The design and the materials are sturdy.

Fiddling around with a 4′x8′ sheet of thermax type stuff (R-Max sheets), I got a 3′ tall model hexayurt. Here’s the thing itself:
It did fall apart, due to dew and structural problems (the missing 6th wall?)… Here’s another pic:
